It's been a lengthy time chipping away at the list of designs - but the Omcha label project is finally complete!
I have yet to see any of the images in print or packaging - but I will share as soon as I get any updates.
It was a lovely project and I'm happy to have been commissioned to make them.
Do please buy some tea from Meg, if you are so inclined. Depending on when you're reading this - it might even come with one of my illustrations on it!
The first official teaser trailer for the project I've been working on has finally dropped!
May I introduce Transformers: CYBERWORLD a brand new YouTube web-series from Hasbro Studios UK.
I've been working on this for nearly 10 months at this point and I've not been able to talk about it at all. But my name is on the IMDb and the show is officially announced so I am copping up to it.
I developed the show for series from a concept (and toyline) provided by the team at Hasbro, and I am the Head Writer for the 36 episode run.
It's so very exciting and I'm so pumped to share the show with the fandom and world. The first episode premieres on 12th July this year - just over a month away. We're still in the thick of production (and will be well up until the finale) but it's coming to life!
I've already seen the first few episodes coming together and hopefully you all love it as much as we do. The team is fantastic, the cast is brilliant, I can't wait for people to see what we've all worked so hard to produce.
There's been a bit of radio silence from me here, of late. The Omcha label project is still coming along - still hoping to launch on schedule.
I am also continuing to work on a larger scale project that I've been a part of for around 6-7 months now. Which should continue for at least the rest of the year.
Unfortunately, I am not at liberty to share details at this juncture - but once it goes live I should be able to publish some posts and information about my involvement. It's very exciting and I hope it will be well received by all those who watch it.
What I can say is that with any luck it will be out this year (in few months, no less!) and it will be free to watch on YouTube - so please tune in once I start spouting about it non-stop!
Following on from the success of the animated brewing guide, I have been commissioned to make a series of bespoke packaging labels for all the tea varieties and blends in the Omcha range - to keep a consistent visual language with the imagery I already made.
It's an exciting (if slightly daunting) project, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity. In short time my illustrations will be on packaging for people to purchase around the world!
partial list of illustrations
I'm already working through a large list of possible labels that I've been given - which will be used for current or future tea products.
Some work in progress images. The range is expected to launch around June 2025.
It would seem that the show reboot I was writing for has moved production internally. There are still 3 and a half episodes I wrote that have not yet been produced - if they make it to launch I will update here.
My services as an animatic artist and writer are still available to those interested. Example below:
